Rob Sansom 

Rob is a pro-active procurement professional with in house and consultancy experience across a range of industries, including healthcare, FMCG, hospitality, automotive and multiple public sector organisations. Throughout his career, Rob has developed a reputation for his strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and project delivery. 

 

Rob spent a large portion of his early career working in New Zealand, initially for a GPO (N3) before going on to work in the public sector for the Inland Revenue Department, working on a $1.5 billion transformation partner programme. Rob then moved into a Category Manager role at the Ministry of Education. Upon returning to the UK Rob took up the position of Senior Buyer at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). During his 4 years with JLR Rob managed the supply chain with a spend of circa £500m across all vehicle lines, with a key focus on cost-based reduction year on year. 

 

Since joining Procure4 in 2019, Rob has been recognised for his high levels of stakeholder engagement, strong work ethic and detailed approach to savings delivery and procurement enhancement delivery for clients. Rob moved on to manage projects for clients, successfully delivering sustainable value as well as supporting and improving our clients procurement function through our enhancement workstream.
