Coming from a diverse procurement and supply chain background, YJ joined Procure 4 in November 2023 as a Category Manager. After graduating from Michigan State University’s well-renowned Supply Chain degree program, YJ was accepted into an Operations Accelerated Development Program for a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate. After successfully completing the program, YJ’s career revolved within Procurement covering different industries and categories for over 5 years managing both Direct and Indirect materials.
As a supply chain expert with a diverse portfolio of experience, YJ has been highly successful being responsible for millions of dollars’ worth of spend and TCO reduction and enhancing our clients’ profitability as a result.
Outside of Work:
When he is not spending quality time with his wife, YJ loves to continuously explore new and different hobbies. One of his main pastimes is basketball; every week he organizes a group of 10-15 people to run either indoor or outdoor games. Another important hobby is being a collector and vendor of Trading Card Games, where he will set up at multiple shows throughout the year to buy, trade, and sell. YJ’s faith is also an important part of his life, and he is an active and committed member of his church.
