A prominent UK-based catering and hospitality company, with a diverse portfolio of specialist businesses and market-leading brands, engaged Procure4 to review all third-party supplier spend and support the integration of a recent acquisition.

Having recently acquired a new business, the catering and hospitality specialists faced the challenge of unifying supplier pricing across two businesses to achieve fair, consistent “Best of Both” rates. At the same time, the business needed to deliver a cost base reduction of £5M–£9M across a £100M spend portfolio without disrupting service quality. Adding to the complexity, a tender for central distribution was already underway, requiring careful alignment between existing workstreams and new initiatives to avoid duplication and maintain momentum.
